January
  • January 1: New Year’s Day – no band rehearsal.
  • January 3: Received word that Carl Zimmerman passed away at 7:35 am.
  • January 6: Terre Haute Band Festival.
February
  • February 12: New music… Pinball Wizard and Latin Gold.
  • February 23: The Little Old Dam Band played at Eastland Mall for the Riley Walk.
  • February 26: There was a parents meeting in the CSMS band room so rehearsal started an hour late.
March
  • March 30: Mark Myers came to Little Old Dam Band for the 1st time since falling and breaking his back.
April
  • April 23: Spring concert at Friedman Park amphitheater.
  • April 25: BBQ started rehearsing at Dan’s house on Thursdays.
May
  • May 18: LODB played at Newburgh Health Care at 10 am.
  • May 25: Rose Hill Cemetery Memorial Day Service.
June
  • June 4: ODCB cancelled due to floor waxing at CSMS.
  • June 11: ODCB rehearsed at Castle High School.
  • June 20: Day Band back to rehearsing for Newburgh cotillion.
July
  • July 4: No Day Band (Holiday).
  • July 17: Special Day Band rehearsal for cotillion.
  • July 19: Day Band played for Newburgh’s cotillion at Rolling Hills.
August
  • August 8: Returned to BBQ rehearsals (Cotilion is over).
  • August 17: LODB played from 3 to 5 pm for Summer Social at Hemingway Church in Boonville.
  • August 31: Newburgh’s Labor Day fireworks.
September
  • September 24: ODCB Fall concert at Friedman Park.
October
  • October 12: Fall Festival Parade. ODCB didn’t attend because the route changed and we were unsure how the logistics would work.
  • October 15: Jack Eskew had open heart surgery.
  • October 18: Loaned HNI our parade trailer for two days of Ghost Walks hayrides.
November
  • November 12: No school today so no ODCB.
  • November 16: LODB played at Newburgh Health Care at 10 am.
  • November 24: North Main Street parade.
December
  • December 6: Day Band played at 3 pm at the Later Day Saints Creche.
  • December 7: Little Old Dam Band played at the Newburgh Museum at 1 pm.
  • December 10: ODCB Christmas concert at the Newburgh library.
  • December 12: The LODB played at 7:45 am at the Evansville Central Library for employee recognition breakfast.
  • December 17: ODCB Christmas concert at the Evansville Central Library.
  • December 28: Band Christmas party at Dan & Terri’s house.
