- January 5th: ODCB rehearsals resume at Castle South Middle School.
- January 16th: LODB at Karl’s dog club at 4:30 PM.
February
- February 27th: LODB played for Kiwanis ‘Walk-a-thon’ at Eastland Mall.
March
- March 4th: LODB played at 7:30 PM for Whitney Hames’s birthday party at Lock & Dam Building.
- March 13th: The LODB played at the Newburgh Senior Center from 10 to 11 AM.
- March 22nd: ODCB Spring concert at Newburgh Library.
April
- April 8th: Joint concert with Castle South Middle School. We played at 8 PM.
- April 15th: LODB at Noon for SWIRCA luncheon.
- April 16th: Carl Becker died.
May
- May 20th: The LODB played for the Newburgh Wine Fest Soiree from 6:30 to 9 PM. Randy Wheeler’s daughter’s group ‘Swing Cats’ danced. Jerry wrote the arrangement for “Naughty Sweetie”.
- May 28th: Rose Hill Cemetery Memorial Service.
June
- June 11th: Newburgh Presbyterian Church ‘Strawberry Festival’.
- June 18th: The LODB played at 6 PM at Epworth Church.
- June 25th: The LODB played at 10 AM at Southwind Healthcare in Boonville.
- June 26th: The ODCB played in Downtown Newburgh from 1 to 4 PM.
- June 28th: ODCB concert at Mt. Vernon Library at 7 PM.
July
- July 2nd: ODCB annual picnic and fireworks concert at 5 PM.
- July 9th: LODB at Newburgh Health Care at 10 AM.
- July 16th: The ODCB played for Newburgh’s Bi-Centennial at 3 PM at Lock & Dam Park.
- July 19th: Jim Fox, one of our ex-conductors, returned to band a few times in early July. On this date, he had some issues, and I escorted him out of the band room at 8 PM.
- July 23rd: Terre Haute Band Festival. We played at 3 PM.
- July 30th: LODB played for ‘Bands on the Run’ 5K Castle fundraiser.
August
- August 13th: Work party to make repairs and paint the Band’s parade trailer. Frank brought his airless, and we painted the basic white.
- August 26th: Bands played in Downtown Newburgh. Day Band from 1 to 2 PM. LODB from 2:30 to 4 PM.
- August 31st: Glen Katterhenry’s funeral. Glen had only played with The Band a couple of times but was very active in other music in Evansville.
September
- September 7th: Added red and blue paint to the parade trailer. Frank, Sally, MJ, and Terri.
- September 10th: The LODB played from 2 to 3 PM for the handoff of the International Torch at the B. Gene Aurand Trail Head.
- September 17th: The LODB was scheduled to play for the Newburgh Farmers Market, but it was cancelled due to rain.
- September 25th: The LODB played at 2 PM at The Boonville Senior Center. John Sakel and his friend coordinated several bands.
- September 27th: ODCB Fall concert at the Newburgh Library.
October
- October 8th: Fall Festival Parade at 4:30 PM. Jeff Stahl attempted to dump the water out of his 2nd slide and accidentally threw it in the street! Had to stop the trailer for him to retrieve it.
- October 15th: LODB to Rathbone Home at 10 AM. Pete and Dave Emery attended.
- October 22nd: The ODCB led Newburgh’s Halloween Parade at 2:30 PM.
- October 30th: The ODCB Annual Meeting at the Newburgh Library.
November
- November 1st: Power failure at Castle South. Went to Castle North Middle School for rehearsal.
- November 10th: The Day Band played at Bell Oaks for their Veterans Day luncheon.
December
- December 2nd: Charlie Dewig died.
- December 3rd: The Day Band and LODB played in Downtown Newburgh.
- December 9th: ODCB low brass played for Charlie Dewig’s visitation in Haubstadt.
- December 13th: ODCB Christmas concert at Newburgh Library.
- December 20th: ODCB Christmas concert at Evansville Central Library.
- December 27th: Band party at Dan & Terri’s.
